Alkitab adalah Firman Tuhan yang diungkapkan dan dicatat dalam kumpulan buku yang ditulis selama berabad-abad. Alkitab juga merupakan buku yang paling banyak dibaca di dunia. Namun, itu bukan buku biasa. Pembaca Alkitab perlu tahu bahwa itu memiliki dua kodrat: manusia dan ilahi.

The Bible is the Word of God revealed and recorded in a collection of books written over centuries. The Bible is also the most read book in the world. However, it is no ordinary book. Bible readers need to know that it has two natures: human and divine.
The Bible is originally formed by 66 books accepted as being inspired by God. These 66 books correspond to the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament.
The collection of books that make up the Bible was written by different authors in a period of time between 1,500 and 2,000 years. Probably the first books that were written date back to approximately 3,500 years ago. The last ones were written about 2,000 years ago.
